Dear Tatus and Mamusia,

I'm currently in Ternopol as a prisoner of war, as i had joined the polish army which had disbanded and fallen into pieces. I am working at the hospital and have managed to send you this postcard through someone whom i can't mention, I also ask that you dont tell anyone about this postcard for my own safety. I just wanted to let you know that i am doing fine and to tell you not to worry, I hope you are doing good as well, and that everyone is still alive. I have even begun to enjoy myself at times. The hospital has allowed me to work on hobbies inbetween shifts so I am not without a sense of home. Sadly, not everything in this hospital is entirely legal, so I am working on a way back to poland to reunite with you all and to get out of this mess alive. I have made friends here and am as content as can be in this situation. I am changing location soon, know that it is for my own safety and that it will all be over soon enough.
